PGL Update – Friday AM

Yet another brilliant day yesterday with the disco in the evening and the children were all asleep again by 10pm! They have been an absolutely fantastic group!
They’ve had breakfast and they are now out for their final activities which include quad biking, aeroball and abseiling. Then it’s lunch and the journey home. They hope to leave Osmington Bay at 2pm with an ETA back at Wessex by 4.30pm but we will keep you updated.
See you all later.
The Year 6 Children and Staff

PGL Upate – Wednesday AM

The children had a great day yesterday. The activities they took part in included beach walks which they really enjoyed, the sensory trail and the climbing wall. They played ambush last night with the PGL staff.
Today they were all up and had breakfast ready for their first activities of the day which will include tunnel trailing, zip wiring and archery.
Attached are photographs from some of yesterday’s activities and as you can see the sun did shine! 😊

PGL Update – Tuesday 7th June – AM

After yesterday’s eventful day it meant the children didn’t get to Osmington Bay until 7pm, where we would like to reassure you they had a hearty meal of a choice of pasta bake, fish pie or lemon chicken plus veg, potatoes, salad and bread rolls followed by cheesecake for dessert. All the children were happy with the offerings and ate well before settling into their dormitories.

After a good night’s sleep, (all the children were in bed and asleep by 10pm) they have enjoyed a hearty breakfast and they have been fencing, orienteering or on the sensory trail this morning.
More updates later today.

Hooke Court – Day 3

Everyone was in bed and asleep last night by 10pm!
This morning we were up, dressed and packed by 7.30pm for breakfast. We left Hooke Court at 8.30am and made our way to Durdle Door and had an amazing walk along the coastal path to Lulworth Cove.
We expect to be back at school by 4pm and are looking forward to seeing you all soon.

Hooke Court – Day 2

The excitement of sharing a dormitory with their friends probably was the reason that the children didn’t go to sleep until after 11pm last night! However, they were all up and ready for room inspections and breakfast by 7.30am this morning. We are now off to do some cooking then we are off to the farm this afternoon.

From Year 5

Hooke Court 2017

Arrived at Hooke Court and after our lunch we went for a lovely walk in the woods. We walked about 3 miles and it was lovely and warm and sunny.

We have had a delicious dinner – best dinner ever was one of the children’s comments! We are now settled into our dormitories and then we have team building games this evening. Everyone is happy and looking forward to the next few days.
